I am a sound designer and aspiring artist. I graduated with my master's and bachelor's at the University of Utah in the Entertainment Arts and Engineering program. I held an audio engineering internship at EA's Mythic Entertainment and helped with the audio for the games "Ultima Forever" for iOS mobile devices and "Warhammer Online: Wrath of Heroes" for the PC. I also have worked on a few indie video games before including "Rapunzel's Fight Knight" and "Minions!" for the XBOX Indiecade.
Unity is a growing tool in the gaming industry and I and a fellow artist decided to work in the program for a prototype project in our level design class at the University of Utah. I tried to tackled the coding part and when I had trouble I went to a programmer for aid. My fellow team member and I worked together as a team with art and design. My pitch was about a diabetic going into a coma and the player must find all the parts to a glucagon emergency kit and inject it into the diabetic. I wanted the player to have a sense of realism and urgency so the player is timed as they look for the different parts of the kit.
